Cookies are small pieces of data stored by the browser. Similar technologies may include browser local storage, session identifiers and other technical storage mechanisms.

Used for core website operation, security, sessions, protected forms, authentication and storing Cookie choices. They cannot be disabled through the preference centre where they are required to provide a requested function or maintain security.

Depending on the function, processing may include Cookie/session identifiers, consent record identifiers, selected categories, IP address or protected hash, date/time, visited page, referrer, browser/OS/device data and security events.

The preference centre allows the user to accept all optional categories, keep only necessary Cookies, or configure categories individually. Optional categories are not activated solely because the user takes no action.

Session Cookies normally expire when the session ends or at another point determined by the browser. Persistent Cookies may remain until their individual expiry date, but the user may delete them earlier through browser settings. 2IZI aims not to retain optional Cookies longer than reasonably necessary for their stated purpose. When preferences are changed, the site stops setting optional Cookies for the disabled category; Cookies already stored on the device may be removed through the browser.

If analytics, advertising, maps, video, chat widgets or other external services capable of setting their own Cookies or receiving device identifiers are added, they are activated in accordance with the consent category selected by the user.
